Client was undertaking a large drilling and completion campaign offshore Indonesia. The campaign consisted of 12 wells to be drilled and completed over a two year time frame. They needed the expert design, supply, install and positioning of a mooring system that could be conducted off the rig operation’s critical path. So they approached Viking SeaTech to undertake the project.

Viking SeaTech were chosen to provide a mooring solution for CNR and two separate drilling locations within the Boabab Oil Filed on the Ivory coast. With each location for the mooring project 1,000 metres apart, a solution that could be as cost effective as possible was required.
